FAQs
Q: Who is this for? Children aged 12–18, across all boards — CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE. The assessment is most impactful for children in Grades 6–12, when profile-building decisions are actively being made.
Q: Is this an IQ or aptitude test? No. This is a Multiple Intelligence assessment — it maps the different ways your child thinks and learns across 8 dimensions. It is not a test of how smart your child is. There are no right or wrong answers.
Q: What are the Quotients Segment? The quotients segment measures your child across different domains like emotional quotient, vision, experiential understanding, creativity, handling adversity and digital knowledge. This maps how your child engages with the world in a way that a standard aptitude test doesn't capture.
Q: How long does the test take? Around 20–25 minutes, taken online in a live proctored session with a neOwn team member present.
Q: What does the counselling session look like? A 1-hour Zoom session with Hemangi — the first 30 minutes with you as a parent, the second 30 minutes with your child in the room. It's a conversation, not a presentation.
Q: When do I receive the report? Within 48 hours of your counselling session.
Q: Can I cancel or reschedule? Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before your test slot. No refund once the test has been taken. One free reschedule is allowed if requested at least 24 hours before the slot. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the slot is not permitted.
Q: Can I buy the add-on sessions without the base plan? No. The 2-session and 4-session add-on packs are only available to parents who have completed the base assessment.
Q: Can I book this for two children? Yes. Each child will require a separate booking.
