Tinkle is a monthly comic magazine which primarily caters to children. Tantri The Mantri - 2 (Tinkle) by Anant Pai is a collection of twenty five short stories. One of the major characters in this series is Raja Hooja. He is a naive, unassuming and affable king. He has only one obsession in life, which is delicious food. His favorite delicacy is ladoo and he eats it all the time. The main character of the story is Tantri. He is one of the several ministers in Raja Hooja's court and is closest to the king. The king is totally dependent on him to look after the affairs of his kingdom. He thinks Tantri is completely loyal to him. However, Tantri harbors a secret ambition to kill the king so that he can become the ruler of the kingdom. Fortunately, luck is on the king's side. Whenever Tantri tries to kill the king, he ends up harming himself. for example: When Tantri plans for the chandelier to fall on the king, it ends up somehow falling on his own head.Tantri The Mantri - 2 (Tinkle) was published by Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd in 2010 and is available in paperback. Key Features: The series was started in 1980 and has had more than 600 editions.
